Chicken Tandoori is one of the most popular modern Indian dishes but dates back to the year 3000 BC there is evidence of charred chicken bones and clay oven remains that share the same shape as the modern Tandoors. Enjoy the easiest path to the same authentic delicious flavor.

Ingredients
-
Tandoori Chicken Spice Mix
-
3.3 Lbs Chicken
-
5-6 tablespoons lemon juice
-
1 cup plain yogurt
-
Ginger Garlic Paste
Directions
Cut incisions into the chicken. Mix lemon juice, food color, Shan Tandoori Masala Mix and 2 tablespoons oil / butter and rub into chicken pieces. Set aside for 30 minutes.
Mix in strained yogurt and set aside. The longer you marinate the better. Add more yogurt to lessen the spiciness, or more mix to increase it.
Arrange the pieces in a tray and discard the marinade. Bake in a preheated oven, (350°F) for 25 minutes. Apply remaining oil / melted butter on chicken and place the tray under high setting of grill until lightly brown or barbecue.
Service with sliced onions and lemon
